An Inconvenient Commentary

I've largely stayed out of the discussion in regards to global warming and particularly Al Gore's movie, An Inconvenient Truth. However, two YouTube videos about the movie made me want to check it out, even just to see if it's as outrageous as they claim. Check out the commentaries below and let me know how it stacks up to what you've seen and heard regarding Al Gore's end of the world scenario. Sticking out tongue

Actually I think Mr Gore is

Actually I think Mr Gore is doing a really important job in raising awareness of global warming. It's a dividing issue certainly, but if we don't start making changes to our lifestyles today every outrageous claim that Mr Gore has made may come true. Speaking of outrageous, some of my church members buy into the radical view that global warming is "the devil's plan of distracting us from God's work".

IMHO, God put us here on Earth as stewards. It's our temporary home for sure, but what would you say to God when we return to heaven and all of His creation here has been messed up?

Agreed... climate change

Agreed... climate change seems to honestly affect more people in the world than many realize. Even if global warming is natural, is it really a bad thing to consider renewable energy, wiser use of resources, and environmentally friendly lifestyles? It's better for people as much as it is the environment. I guess I'd like to see it stand on its own merits and not as a result of an alarmist message, though as I've said, I haven't seen the movie yet myself. I'll be sure to post back if I get the chance.

Whatever you think of global

Whatever you think of global warming (Actually, now the term being passed around is climate change, as if the climate had always been stable, till now), Gore's film is full of plane lies, distortions, and half-truths.

Some people know how to gain from any crisis, no matter if it is real or not.

All those crying for their governments to do something about this "crisis" will start to think again when they finally find out what the "solution" will be, and who exactly will be paying that "solution".

If you don't believe me, do some real research yourself, and prove me wrong.
